City in the north of Montenegro, in the mountain region and along rivers Cehotina and Breznica. Mountain ranges Pljevalja are Ljubišnja, Kovac, Cemerno and Jabuka. In the center of the city is Hussein-Pasha Mosque which is one of the most beautiful monuments of oriental architecture in the Balkans. Monastery of the Holy Trinity, first mentioned in 1537, has present form since 16th century. In the Monastery's treasury are more than 1700 priceless exhibits. Apart from the treasury of the Cetinje Monastery in this treasury too preserves particle of the Holy Cross. Pljevlja today is an industrial town of north Montenegro, but because of the great environment attracts many nature lovers.
